إنضمت د. المقيرحي إلى جامعة بنغازي كطالبة بكاليورس في الإقتصاد 1993 ورشجت كـــمعيدة في عام 1998 وتحصلت على الماجستير في 2003 ومن ثم ابتعثت الى الدكتوراة عام 2007 قامت بالتدريس ايضا في فروع جامعة بنغازي المنطقة الشرقية وعملت كمحاضرة بجامعة مصراتة كلية الاقتصاد وقسم السياحة كلية الاداب وحاضرت في عدة معاهد وعملت كمستشارة إقتصادية في عدد من الشركات .

Dr. El Megeirhi works as an international expert at ICESCO, She travelled around the world due to her father diplomatic work nature.She lives in Switzerland and the founder of IMPACT association of sociocultural development. Also she is working as consultant at the Libyan Prime Minister’s Cabinet. She has collaborated internationally and nationally with the civil society for Human rights purpose as independent volunteer activist and liaising with the local government officials, community leaders, other stakeholders, representatives of various international organizations and NGQs during the time of post conflict and peace in Libya. Including and not limited to: UNCTAD, UNESCO Tunisia focal point, UNESCO memory of the world, ,ALECSO, Libyan delegation to ALECSO,ICESCO, WHO, WFB, IOM , UTA ,European union delegation to Libya, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Arab league. Furthermore she is interested in cultural heritage preservation in the time of pace and war in World Heritage Sites.
